Annuities can be a valuable retirement income planning tool for your clients. However, like any solution, there are pros and cons, and understanding the nuances of annuities in the elder law planning setting is crucial to helping your clients to the fullest.
With that said, I invite you to register for an upcoming presentation I will be co-presenting entitled Annuities in Elder Law Planning (The Good, The Bad, The Ugly) . This will take place at the Suffolk County Bar Association Center, Thursday, July 26th, from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM.
This program will provide a benefit to Elder Law attorneys, Trust & Estate attorneys and CPAs. The program will present the pros and cons of using annuities in the setting of elder law planning and will also answer practical questions that arise in determining how to advise clients in the use of existing annuities, purchase of a new annuity or termination of existing annuities, all within the context of the current Medicaid statutes and practice in Suffolk County.
I’ve included the registration form below. Please reach out if you have any questions.
